Our conductors...
Charles Musgrave, our Associate Conductor, has made music
a large part of his life.  After graduation from the Shurtleff College
Conservatory of Music, he completed his Master's Degree at the
University of Illinois with Doctoral studies at the University of
Northern Colorado. He has been involved in many aspects of the
art, from musical comedies to teaching to conducting.  At one
time, he was the Director of Development at the famed
Interlochen Center for the Arts in Traverse City, Michigan. After
moving to this area, he not only became associated with the
Concert Band and the Sun City Chamber Orchestra, but also
co-founded the very popular Desert Brass Band.
George Zoske earned a B.S. Degree in Music Education at the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a M.M. Degree in Music
Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He taught
instrumental and vocal music for 38 years, and played bass
trombone with the Madison Symphony Orchestra for 15 years.  He
has also directed handbell choirs and pit orchestras for summer
community theatre.  Currently, he directs the Sun City Concert
Band, the Sun City Chamber Orchestra, the Christo Handbell Choir
at the American Lutheran Church and plays bass trombone in the
All Stars Jazz Band.
